This is an old picture of what’s become an Easter tradition in our family… but it looks a lot the same this year (except Asher is 9 now, instead of 5):
The tomb is made of a cup and homemade play dough (which is always a big hit at our house). The characters in this version of The Passion are Playmobil toys.
Preparations for Easter have been going strong around here: the UPS man has been delivering Easter basket goodies which I ordered off of Amazon. This morning we colored eggs (and inevitably crunched a few). The menu is planned — ham, asparagus, and more. Emi proclaims that no Easter dresses are necessary this year because we’re hunkering down anyway.
But also, first thing in the morning… we shall see if the little play dough tomb is empty : )
