It’s hard to believe these two 4-H colts of mine are 18 and 21 years old.
Especially considering I showed them at the fair as a 2- and 5-year-old just last summer.

You really feel old when you realize your horses are getting old. The only bright side is that they’re now ready-made kid horses for our family. And that’s what I need, considering my kids do more riding than I do at this stage of my life.
