It’s an interesting thing when your kids start copying things you know they’ve seen you do or heard you say. It can be terrifying; i.e. they say something embarrassing in public that clearly came from your own mouth originally.
But if you’re lucky, this reflecting can also be sweet. Case in point: my little photographer. She carries around this old junk camera and points it about randomly. She says: “Say fuzzy pickles!” And we do. And then she says: “That was a good one.”
